Downtown Banner Project - City of St. Albert
Downtown Banner Project
City of St. Albert
Submission Deadline:
August 25, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
The City of St. Albert is currently seeking qualifications from local artists who identify as belonging to a group that has been historically underrecognized based on ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, socioeconomic status, geography or citizenship status to create a banner series for display throughout downtown St. Albert. The banners will be in place for up to three years, being replaced during the months of December/January with holiday banners.
Three artists will be chosen to create four banner designs. The selected artists will be introduced at the time of hire to share their portfolios with one another so that they understand each others practices before creating new work. The City will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of the banners.
The selected artists will receive a fee of $5,800* per artist/team.
